If and when she came in,
She would arrive early,
But she didn’t come every day.

She would walk down the halls
And check every office,
To see if anyone wanted to play.

She’d sneak in a nap
Between her demands
That lawyers and staff jump — no delay.

She’d check out new clients
And give her approval,
Or growl and send them away.

She established herself
Our four-leg’d senior partner,
And we still miss her every day.
